If I have a line that has point A, B, C and D can I make a ray from point A to D? Can a ray include other points? What would the other rays be? Any other helpful hints about rays would be helpful.

We can't start a ray in the middle of a line?

The ray could be named AB, AC, or AD. A ray extends forever from its starting point. The ray is thus made up of an infinite number of points.

Do not confuse a ray and a vector. A vector has a direction and a magnitude. A vector does not extend forever as a ray does but has a finite length indicating its magnitude.
