Both. All good pets are also good friends!

The loss of a good friend! The loss of a pet may be bad, but a person is a greater.

Both are heartbreaking, but in different ways. The love you have for a pet is different than the love you have for a good friend. The death of both is heartbreaking.

Both are heartbreaking, I cried like a baby when my German Shephard died, but the loss of a good friend is overwhelming ! It takes much longer to heal.

hmmm tuff question...although I love animals and would miss my longtime pet....but I would be more lost loosing a good friend..because people are human and made in Gods image
