Triangles come into play a lot in billiards. Sometimes when you cannot make a straight shot you have to bounce the cue off the side or another ball to complete the shot. It takes a lot of practice to be able to determine the correct angles for making shots like that.

When you play pool, you won't always directly hit the ball into the pocket right, sometimes you have to make the ball hit the sides of the table so that it can reflect and go another direction, getting to the pocket. Do you see where I am going with this? Geometry involves angles and reflections, and you can use this knowledge in playing pool to win. By using geometry you have a better change of beating your opponent because you can try different paths that the cue ball can take. You should try playing pool on yahoo games, and test it out. Good Luck.

I will not do your homework, but geometry is very significant in pool or billiards. Have you ever played pool? The table is rectangular with several markings along the cushions. Put a ball in front of a side pocket and aim at a marker halfway between the opposite side pocket and the far right hand pocket. Hit the ball with average force and it will fall into the closest right hand pocket. If you learn how to use the markers well, you can play, assuming you know when to use the chalk.

On yer bike.
I don't mind answering questions that will help you on the way to answering your homework, because that shows that you have a bit of initiative and are willing to do some research followed by a bit of work. But I am not going to write the whole damn thing for you. If you think the world works like that, you will server a lot of burgers in your lifetime.
Back to the question. Think about playing pool... You hit the cue ball in a particular direction... It hits another ball... What happens? Think what that has in common with geometry.

gee, a half page is a lot .
Playing pool requires you to stike the ball in such a way that the ball travels in the direction needed and strikes another ball in such a way that the second ball goes in a specified direction.
This requires some appreciation of angles and angles of reflection, when stiking balls and when bouncing balls off of cushions.
striking the ball off center makes it travel at an angle , the further off center the greater the angle.
sorry thats all I got.

Volleyball is all geometry. To be a great volleyball player understanding angles of flight and angles of reflection is essentials. The ball changes it's angle with virtually every contact.

hmm... seems like this is your homework, so im just gonna give you the gist..you make the file so you can experience makin one..
anyway it's easy, just make the sides of the pool table your side for the right angle, make the shot you will make the hypotenuse=h, then calculate using the lengths, in order to get the angles of your triangle..
