START--ALL PROGRAMS--LOOK FOR UNINSTALL FILE,IF NOT DO NEXT--
CONTROL PANEL--ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS--CLICK CHANGE/REMOVE
START--MY COMPUTER--LOCAL DISK DRIVE [ C ]--WINDOWS--PROGRAMS--REMOVE PROGRAM
REMOVE ALL ICONS FROM DESKTOP
DELETE FROM ALL PROGRAMS
RIGHT CLICK START--SELECT PROPERTIES--SELECT TASKBAR--SELECT CUSTOMIZE--SELECT ALWAYS HIDE
DELETE FROM DOWNLOADS FOLDER

EXPERT ONLY!
PRESS WINDOWS KEY + LETTER R
ENTER...REGEDIT...
CHECK EACH HKEY

when going into add and remove programes, and you cant seem to find wat youve downloaded as sometimes they diguise them self as something eles,try going back to when you click on start, depending im on windows 2000, so maybe different 4 you, but click on start then it should say search 4 files and folders then type in the name of the programme you have downloaded, then ask to delete it, but be sure not to delete other files that look the same to be sure click on properties by right clicking on the files before deleted them i think you have to right click on them anyway to delete, hope this helps

go to start, then control panel, then "add or remove programs" then search for the program on the list, then remove it.
