16 bars, what does it mean?

1 bar = four counts (1...2...3...4)

It's kinda hard to explain that aspect. Try to listen to a sing and count four beats within one line of rap and you might see what I mean.

But yeah, one line of rap typically fits in 1 bar. Verses are usually 16 bars, and choruses are usually 8 bars

A bar is a line. so if they say 16 bars it means 16 lines of rap.
