Get a tire pressure gauge and measure the air pressure at home when the tires are cold. Then, add whatever amount it is low when you're at the station. A pressure gauge is usually only a few bucks at an auto parts store and is far more accurate than the ones at a gas station.

Charly is obviously confused since if you air the tires to 29 hot, they'll be lower than 29 when cold, and it's kind of hard to rasie pressure by letting air out.
Just air them to 32 when they're warm. It's not an exact science. Cold on a 0 degree morning would be different than cold on an 80 degree morning.

The tires will heat up as you drive and this causes the air in the tires to expand and raise the tire's pressure.Just fill the tire to 29psi at the station and when the car is parked long enough for the tires to become cool, let air out until the proper inflation is achieved.
Additional: I run my tires about 5psi above the recommended cold inflation to get better fuel mileage and handling, the only thing you will really adversely affect by doing this is a cushy ride.
