I have a betta without a heater. My house is air conditioned, and it's about 73-76 all the time. I'm just wondering if that temperature is ok, or if I need a heater. Thanks!

Yes, that temperature is fine for a betta. A few degrees warmer is often considered to be the best, but 73-76F easily falls within bettas comfort range.

Your temperature should be fine as long as it doesn't drop down all the way to 70. If you have a chance, I would get and grab a bigger tank so you could place a heater for them!

(75 to 86 °F). is the ideal temp for a betta, They are more active in warmer water that's why when you see them in cups at stores they just lay there, the water is too cold. Usually if you have it in a tank, not a vase, the light will keep the water warm enough(speaking of a 2gal tank or so.)

Bettas prefer temperatures between mid to high 70's. So the temperature you said is perfect.
