been on the depo injection for a year, and just started bleeding?

hi, ive been on the depo injection for over a year now (14 months) and i have never had a period. and 2night i noticed i was bleeding. im due for my next injection 2morro.
has this happenned to any 1 else and should i be worried?
ive heard about all the side effects of the depo injection and would also like to stop having it and change to the normal pill. but due to the bank holiday i can not be changed to the pill until next week. would it be ok to miss this depo injection 2moro and see my nurse a week late??

Its actually quite normal for depo with women menstruating like this. It may not stop for weeks.

Personally I'm appalled this poison is still on the market and being administered.

I thought that depo shot was off the market? my friend used to take that shot, and she had the same problem as you, she kept bleeding for 3 months straight!!!! there were studies that said it gives you heart problems later on, you should use another form of birth control, just being honest, not negative
