anyone else wondered this?, i have 3 daughters and if mine had gone missing i would be out there giving interviews left right to the centre.......so could it be that she cant trust herself not to crack under the pressure...seems gerry has successfully silenced her as well as maddy.

she said 'gerry is more the public speaker as he is use to because of his work'. if it was my daughter missing you bet your life i would have things to say despite being more of a public speaker or not.

She doesn't come off at all well; despite her doctor's qualifications she speaks like a total chav. I actually think she's not all that bright (yes, Virginia, even people with average IQs graduate from medical school) and she probably has a huge inferiority complex, which is why she mainly grunts instead of speaking, holds her husband's hand with such force, stands behind him when he speaks and always gazes down, away from the cameras; GM? He's a classic wannabe, tries his damndest to impress people he's more clever and posh than he actually is. He also comes from humble roots and wants desparately to keep up with the Jones. Makes 80 grand a year, has a small family and takes out a 600k mortgage on a huge pile in one of the richest areas of Britain - that speaks volumes to me.

I've heard her speak a couple of times and was actually surprised at her strong accent! Now, I have nothing against the Liverpudlian accent and don't wish to offend anyone, but it's *such* a strong accent that, in the UK, is often associated with 'scallies' and . . . well, not quite the middle class image that middle class doctors would like to portray.
Also, I get the impression that Gerry has always been the dominant partner in this relationship and that Kate is probably used to only speaking when being spoken to. . . .
Just my opinion.

she did give an interview on the 5th of August.
she dropped them in it.
their flimsy excuse for not using the hotel baby-sitting service as they didn't want to leave their children with strangers.
well turns out madeleines' last words before kate tucked her in, was to thank mummy for the wonderful day she'd had at a kids club, hence leaving madeleine with STRANGERS!
she hasn't held any more interviews since that one,
think we can tell why, can't we?

She was asked "what would you say to Madeleine if she was watching right now" Kate said " Ehm.........I love you, she knows that, she knows how much we love her, we both do" or something to that effect! You could feel her awkwardness, but maybe she was nervous?
She never cracked once!
By the way her ehm seemed more like a little laugh!

Only St Gerry does the talking. He needs to be in control at all times so that's why he hardly lets Kate get a word in for fear of saying something she shouldn't. When Gerry ISN'T in control he flies off into a rage and walks out of interviews. This man is hiding something.

The end of their chapter is nearly closing now. They always say, 'every picture tells a story.' And a lot of people have been studying the pictures to obviously get a story.

the reason she doesnt do the interviews is that she has said she cant hold herself together, Gerry is used to doing public speaking and conferance speaking and is better at putting the precise words together - although she has been doing more newspaper interviews recently
