I think a marriage proposal is a way of telling the other one "Im ready to settle down with you." Assuming Im a man, I will still take the lead to ask my lady to marry myself. Because my wife-to-be's future is going to be in my hands, so i'd be sincere to ask. I think in order to avoid awkward moments: have conversations with each other. I think women are better at dropping subtle hints n asking questions. Then based on communication, i presume most situations can be resolved. I'd still prefer my man to propose, instead of the other way. I would also prefer that he prepares for the moment.

I don't get many proposals but I get plenty of phone numbers. I get at least 8 a day unless I stay home.

Not many to be honest with you but all I needed was one. I'm happy with the one who proposed as well although I proposed first and then she proposed to me. Lol. That's awesome for a woman to propose to a man.

Actually.....not on a "daily basis".....but the last marriage proposal was a couple of weeks ago! BUK ask me to be his P&S wife, but due to "technical" difficulties....he was deleted just before we set the date.......(as usual). DAMN YAHOLES, they ruin EVERYTHING!
