I have two dad who are obviously gay. How do I tell them that I am straight? Is that considered coming of the closet to them?

Just because you have two dads doesn't mean they assume you will be gay! Give them credit. Having a gay parent or two doesn't make you gay, or more likely to be gay. It doesn't work that way. I would almost guess that by now your dads probably know you are straight. They have probably seen if you have magazines or have walked with you and seen you checking out the opposite sex. Like I said, give them credit. They are your parents after all. I have 2 moms! My sister, brother, and myself are all heterosexual.

I don't think they would really care. If you think you would feel better to just come right out and tell them, then sit them both down together and tell them. All they want from you is honesty. That's what I would want from MY kid.

Dude, just tell them. It's okay. No ,straight people don't have to come out, because they aren't " in the closet". Don't sweat it kid !!!!!!

Just tell them I am sure they already know that you are not gay. They no doubt just want you to be yourself and be honest.

They dont expect you to be gay. If I had kids I would not expect them to be gay , Its a hard life. But IT IS SOI WORTH IT!

I think they allready assume your straight because thats what everyone assumes about peole....
but I always say...there is more to people then what meets the eye...just because you are male or female doesnt mean you are sexually attracted or want a future with the opposite sex...;)

No, I think all LGBT people are more accepting than anyone else. They don't "expect" you to be gay. They want you to be who you are. If you're straight, great! No real need to tell them. (Most people assume you are heterosexual anyways). (When I say you, I don't mean you individually, I mean anyone).

Just be truthfull , I am sure they will be very happy for you , that you know what you want for your life . The other road is sometimes harder , ( having to tell them your gay ) . Good luck .
