she says she isnt ready for this realtionship yet? im confused.?

Question

Me and a girl from work hit it off really well. We had both come out of long relationships just prior to meeting. Anyhow, things progressed and real feelings developed and we started seeing each other over the last 2 months. Last night despite how i felt everything was going she broke things off with me saying she is not yet ready for this relationship. She says i am the greatest guy she has ever met and wishes the timing could be different. She said she loves me and has grown very attached to me. She says she is not ready to give to me what she is capable of and what she believes i deserve. She wants to keep seeing me as a friend and see how things turn out. My problem is i want to be with her so bad and will find it difficult going back to being just friends. Does this seem genuine or am i only going to dissapoint myself in the future if things dont work out as i hope.

Well, first of all, I know how you feel. These things happen all the time.

You need to think about this girl. She's probably still getting over her long relationship before you. So, even though she still has feelings for you, she still needs time to recap and think things over. Women need time somtimes when they're unsure.

Now, something that I was to highlight to you, is you said she said "she wants to see you as a friend and SEE HOW THINGS TURN OUT." Okay, think of that. This is a key thing you need to think of. She's not losing you, she's just losing a little grip, and she said you can be friends with her and see how things turn out. That most likely means that if you guys hit it off good as friends, that she might have second thoughts of you and her being a committed couple.

We (meaning women, girls) tend to change our minds a lot. You said she loved you, so give her a little space and in time, she may reconsider, alright?

I feel if you're going to keep thinking of wanting her back, you're just going to dissapoint yourself more. Just think possitivly. Lay back, enjoy going out with her as a friend, and you never know.

It'll all turn out okay. You have to believe me. I'm sure she really likes you, and maybe she's just not ready for a commitment, but is thinking through weather when she wants to start seeing you again.

It's a lot of different things, It could be he's scared of losing the friendship if the relationship doesn't work out. Or he's unsure of his feelings for you. Sometimes for close guy friends they say they'd wanna be with someone like you but it doesn't mean they want to be with you. If you're really close to him and you feel that he is attracted to you then just ask. Sometimes guys don't get those subtle hints.

OMG my girl just did this to me also!!!!im in pretty much the exact same situation but the way ive chosen to deal with it is im having less contact with her but still being her friend...because she also said"lets be friends and see how it goes" and said how she loves me and what not...just be her friend and things may work out good...well thats what I am hoping for
