81^(3/2)
= [sqrt(81)]^3
= [sqrt(81)]^2 sqrt(81)
= 81sqrt(81)
= 81 * 9
= 729.

Im not sure if this is radical notation but another way to write that would be the square root of 81 to the third power. the final answer being 729. Again i am not sure if this is radical notation...

It's the square root of 81 cubed. [81^(1/2)]^3 or (√81)^3.

In case you didn't know, x^(1/2)=√x.

The whole thing should come out to 729.

(sqrt(81)) ^ 3

= 9 ^ 3
= 729
