Pubic hair and facial hair, specifically. I'm just asking because I'm 13 and recently started shaving, and while I was looking for tips (after cutting myself) I found some older posts saying things like"I'm sixteen and just had some facial hair grow in . . ." or "I'm fifteen, just got my pubic hair about a month ago, how can I shave it off . . ." and was a little concerned for my health and that of our planet (what with us pumping our cows and fruit full of hormones). I wanted to know if kids today are growing hair sooner than before.

We mature at different ages. Some man begin to get hair on their body as early as 9 or 10, and some don't any more growth than peach fuzz until they are 16 or 17.
Men also mature sexually at different ages. Some men develop(get larger) early, and some very unfortunate young men develop very late. When I was in high school(the guys showered together), one of my friends had a tiny penis and his testicles hardly dropped.This particular guy didn't have any body hair to speak of, either.

I got pubic hair at 12 started shaving about 15-16.

You're good. 16 is a little late to get beard, 14 is the most common age for men to need to shave. 13 or 15 is really common. You're fine

I got pubes at around 9, maybe 10. I'm 15, and I still haven't got much else (I need to shave but it's just my chin and it's unnoticeable unless I leave it for a few days). I'm getting other body hair now (chest and treasure trail) so pubes at 9 or 10 and the rest at 15.

I was 11... It freaked me out but I'm pretty healthy.
P.S. The onset of puberty (ie hair growth and stuff) is dependent of family history and race...topically black and Hispanic boys and girls will experience changes before white or Caucasian kids.

anywhere from 9 to 16. more likely the healthy diet and vitamins of youngsters rather than any poisons in the air that make them mature earlier.

lol wooooooooah I give ya props for bein brave enough 2 say that but yes there are kids reachin puberty before a normal age
