Hand glaze from your local auto parts store will remove the water spots. This will not harm the car finish. When done install a good coat of wax to finish the job.Best of luck.

Mix about a cup or two of vinegar in with some car-soap and wash by hand. If first wash doesn't do it, try a second time with just vinegar and water.
This will need to re-wax your car after doing this to help keep water spots away.
