those plant bulbs at walmart that you put in your tank and they grow?
my friend has one in a 55 gal and it grew huge and made lily pads in just a few weeks.

i bought some for the lily pads and the other kind they have. if they are the brown hairy bulbs do i put them in the gravel, or just let the fall to the bottom of my tank?

Just put them into your tank, no need to put them into the gravel

The ones that will for sure grow will sink down in a matter of 72 hours, the ones that won't grow will keep floating on the surface and you will need to take them out

I had bought 2, 1 of them startet to sprout and has now beautiful lilly leaves, the other one i had to throw away

Hope that helps
Good luck

Under gravel, half of an inch to an inch. Yes they do work well.
