the fire in Greece?

we are thousands of miles from Greece.
what can we do when we know that the fire is close to the ancient Olympic city ?

First we all should pray to God to save the lives of those who are near and those who are fighting the fire. Also to save Greece and its heritage.Then all rich able countries that have means to help should do so, why is it that such countries are so effective in invading, destroying and ruining other poorer countries thousands of miles away but abstain from helping in a case like this?

The fires close and near ancient Olympia are mainly contained and only a few small spots are still burning.
Even if you were close you could not help under the certain circumstances. Thank God for the heroic efforts of our low-rung fire-fighters. As for the top-rung they should all go home, together with their political boss, whose only competence is with words that only he can understand....
Great help the foreign countries that sent in forces, only it was somewhat delayed. Still, they helped, even if boosting the moral of the ones actually involved.
Thank you however for your concern and thoughts. As for the Irish gentleman, I had the notion that the Irish were more compassionate than be cool. Sorry you represent the friendly people of Ireland.

By the way the Olympic monuments are out of danger now. But, as for the help, only french canadairs (4) and italian (2) are here, german, slowenian, serbian, norwegian and other help will come on Monday.
There are also fires in Corfu, Zakinthos, Alexandroupolis, which are places at the more east and west side of Greece. just quinsidance,he?

By now, Olympia has been narrowly saved from the fires but they continue elsewhere. All we can do is to keep this tragedy in the public eye and give our support where we can- arrests have been made of arsonists but it does not go far enough. Anyone who attempts to develop these lands as a result should be investigated! Our prayers go out to those still trapped, losing their homes or even their lives.

Irish is a sick person. 40 miles of greece is burning and its spreading every minute. u think THATS cool? your abbsolutely rediculous. and the fires were near olypia but there are security systems and sprinklers and eveything around there. watch the news to keep updated. maybe mr irish should get burned in one of those fires and see just how "cool" everything really is.
