Check out a lot of progressive stuff. Ayreon is THE best for that. Other good choices include Symphony X, Dream Theater and Kamelot.

dream theater uses alot of keyboards. i went to a dream theater concert last night and the keyboard player had the craziest solo ever it lasted over 10 minutes

Deep Purple-everyone thought is was the guitar that makes the metal sound but it is really Jon Lord's pumped up keyboard
