This is a subject that I happen to be an expert on. Some of the dangers of being in danger include:
1) You might not get a happy birthday present.
2) Who will feed your fish if you get hurt or die?
3) What if the fire extinguisher doesn't work?
4) Insurance rates go up.
5) Blood pressure gets out of control.
6) If just bought groceries -- think of all the food that would go to waste should things go wrong.
7) You might end up missing work.
8) If you get seriously injured, they don't have Y! Answers at hospitals.
9) About the Golden Girls marathon, you can forget it.

this is a real tough one. i would say that, beside the obvious danger which you are faced with, there is the added danger that you might panic and be unable to face the original danger. in the end you might present yourself with an even graver danger than the one you were afraid of in the first place. / for example, if you run from one danger, say a rattlesnake, you might not look where you are going, and fall in a deep hole. (the hole might be home to rattlesnakes)
