Maybe it's because I'm not as sociable as everyone else but I seem to be a target for people to 'harmlessly make fun of' or be sarcastic about. I'm sick of it, but if I show how I feel I'll look like some stubborn brat. I'm sick of my family and friends looking & talking at me like an outcast. How do I deal with this?

If you are not sociable, then you need to learn to do things by your self, by going and doing things you enjoy. In time you will meet people that have the same interests and friendships will begin. As you say they harmlessly make fun of you, so maybe you are taking things to seriously. Lighten up and enjoy your life. If being around family is not your thing then, don't go around them. Maybe you need to start kidding back, let them know how it feels to be made fun of.

True feelings never make you look like a stubborn brat; evryone has feelings and everyone's feelings can get hurt. You absolutely need to confont them every time they do this and tell them straight out how their comments make you feel. When you do this every time and leave no room for doubt as to how they are making you feel, they will be aware and then if they persist, they will be the ones who look bad. And I would find new friends; you have to deal with your family but you can always get new friends.

If you shy away from people, they will have you as a target simply because you are not involved. Groups talk about the ones that are not in their group. Most people don't say what they think right to someone's face. It's more of a "look at that guy/girl"
Open up to people. Get involved in things that you love to do.

Well it sounds like you ACT like the odd one out. Some people are non-sociable and that's fine if you want that but you also then have to put up with being left out of things, they associate a negative feeling with you.

Stand up for yourself. Dont let ANYONE talk junk to you. No matter if they can kick your ***. That's what you gotta do. Now find the way to get the guts to do it.
