I know there are vampires, werewolves, dark elves, but what else is there? I am writing a story and I need a villian to the humans and the vampires. I want no werewolves in this story. But if you could me with some ideas that would rock!

Gargoyles and Ghouls would both be excellent choices. There's also maybe warlocks or Sorcerers. Or possibly a Shadow: A creature that can move unseen in darkness, manifest itself into a dark splotch or shape on a wall like a shadow, and can com right out of the wall if it wants. Pretty creepy in my opinion.

These are just a few of the options available to you.

How about a boogey man (just give him a different name and a background story). A night terror to children and adults through their dreams.
