Please read full awnser everybody before you get angry at me.

No, I know your gonna say i'm a bad person but here's my reason.

Its a little too long to explain but if we hadn't gone to war with hitler than there would still be communism in Russia, which means the cold war would still be going on Right now, and there is also a possibility that we would have all died in a nucleur holocaust by now. The only reason we won the coldwar was because Russia was still week after WW2, but if there wasn't a WW2 then they would be stronger than ever and we might have lost the coldwar, which means that Russia might be the supreme superpower of the world right now and ALL of us would be dead instead of just 100 million or so that died in the holocaust.

This might sound crazy, but humans are at their best when at war. All the technology of today - computers, antibiotics, radio, radar, rocket technology, space flight, surgery - all came out of research trying to win the war.
The allies had several chances to assassinate Hitler and they didn't do it because he was basically such an idiot and a lousy commander. Germany would have been far more dangerous with Rommel or some other General in charge. So, if I had a chance to kill Hitler I would have to think hard about what to do. Doesn't mean I support anything he did of course.

I'd make him lose the mean little mustache, grow a full walrus with waxed droopy ends and force him to wear a bowler thus causing an identity crisis. Who knows what he could have got up to then?

No, because as tragic as the entire event from his election to the end of the war, it held lessons we needed to learn. And for all I know, I would have made it worse for those of us getting by today.

nah.

I don't want to be responsible for how history turned out. Who knows it could have ended up worse.

Better all that crap happened back then so he didn't appear in 2007 with nukes.

Yes, if there was a way of preventing one of the most horrible chapters in the story of humanity... but I'm afraid if it wasn't him it would have been someone else, it was the times of totalitarianism.

I would love to go back in time and stop him. I would have captured him by surprise and torture him until I wanted to finally give him a slow painful death.

Yup, we have so much more technology then they did back then. All I would have to do is turn on some rap and he would think I was putting a curse or something on him, and my wish would be his command. End of holocaust :)
