I bet almost everyone has felt like an afterthought. I guess its a part of nature. I'm almost sure everyone has made someone feel like an afterthought. It can be an awful feeling, sometimes people get a stronger feeling than others because they think it has to do with something they are, or the way they act, or even the way they look. People can even make you feel like an afterthought when they don't even mean it. Sooo don't take it personally. =)

At times everyone is an afterthought. Im pretty sure you at some point have done the same to someone else! It's normal.

Yes, quite often. I remember when I was teaching school. I just wasn't part of the "clique?." Others would make suggestions and mine were always ignored. We went to a sixth grade camp. All the male teachers slept in one cabin. When they had discussions and discussed school matters i was always left out. Been the story of my life with people. I don't know what I do, but I just get ignored. It bothers me to the extent that I would just rather not be around people in social settings. If I am, I just keep my mouth shut.
I know I sound like I am feeling sorry for myself. I have adjusted but still don't understand why I can't relate to people.

I feel like an unpaid babysitter to be rang at the last possible moment; and the convenient little cash machine.. Oh well, theres always worse off..
