and is it true that radiologists and x ray technicians can get cancer from being exposed to radiology and stuff like that

I think a nurse or the receptionist.
Yes,people working as radiologist(my mum's one) and x ray technicians can get cancer if they stay too much in the room where the x rays are.

The easiest thing to be is a medical transcriptionist. From what I hear, the hardest thing about being an x-ray tech are the barium enemas.

The easiest (and often the hardest) thing to be is a patient. Without patients (or hypochondriacs, for that matter), the rest serve no purpose.

We are not exposed to "radiology" - radiology is a branch of medicine.

What you are referring to is radiation, and no, it is very safe. Many decades ago, it was a problem, but today we know how to protect ourselves.
