i'm thinking of buying a wii for my kids. i have 3 daughters. whats the deal with the remotes? how many do you suggest i get and what other accessories do you suggest? also what are the best family games that we can play together? thanks.x

You should get 4 remotes. That way you can all play. Or, you can get A Wii (which comes with one remote), two more remotes at about £20 each ($39) and Wii play (it comes with another remote for £29 (49$), as opposed to buying another remote for £20 (39$). )

I would suggest 4 controllers and 4 nunchucks in case you want to play too. For accesories, Get two wii remote chargers if you don't want to ever replace batteries. Othere accsories I recomend are point cards, you can wii points and download classic games, it's a great feature that I use quite often. You can get up to 4 games for 2000 wii points(worth about $20). If you do this however, either have a game cube controller, or buy a classic controller.

Well if money is no object buy at least four controllers (you will also need to buy the nunchucks). I believe, although I am not sure how, but I think the system recognizes up to 8 controllers, so buy no more than 8! I would also suggest buying memory cards, if your kids are competitive, they will like the option of saving their progress on games. The games I would recommend would be Big Brain Academy, Wii Play (although its only 2 player), or Mario Party 8.

You get wii sports free and thats a great family game and you can have 4 players. Mario party 8 is a brill family game and fun and you can have about 4 players on that. I would buy three of the normal remotes cos you get one with the wii and another nunchuk controller. You could get the wii sports pack as well. You get a little golf club, driving wheel,baseball bat etc. Its gonna cost you a lot of money though lol

the wii takes 4 remotes and four nunchicks but not every game needs a nunchuck .. the wii comes with a set of remote and nunchuck and wii sports witch is a great game me and my friend all get toghether and play it.. then u can also buy wii play witch has games like wii sports and it comes with a remote .. but then u still ahve to buy nanouther nunchuck .. then all u will need to get is two more remotes and two more nunchucks for u guys to all play toghether

buy four wii remotes its wii can hold 4 controllers... so yeah if any of your daughter's friend wants to play, there's a remote for her friend to play
and the best games are wii sports, mario party. and so on...

You should get 4 so you can all play together, trust me you will want to its very contageous. Theres a game , im not sure the name, but it has lots of sports games like tennis, bowling etc. That one will be fun.

don't get a wii, get three old fashioned hand painted cups with the string attached to a ball in them.
