I actually enjoy taking something on, considering all possible alternatives & consequences. I like to get involved in problems that need to be solved, various community & political issues.
I couldn't say that it's "hard" to accept, because I accept only when I've done my best & it's clear I can go no further. Also, at times, it's best to accept in order to cut one's losses. So, it isn't "hard," it's a pragmatic decision & that's that.

I think it is harder to do something about it! I can accept certain things in my life but to make the change needed is not so easy because there are never clear cut answers in the decisons that follow...
To do something about it in the present moment can take a life time to figure out what the something is that needs to change in ones life for the better and hopefully not for the worse..
Sometimes you just need to heal and accept because you might be able to do something about it but by just accepting it that is the start of changing the something that can be so difficult to do :))

I find accepting harder. But once I realise the situation to be what it really is and accept, I proceed to do something about it which may take time and effort. But accepting it really is the barrier that torments me more...

I'd say accept something because people often do something about it, but not always a constructive thing. Therefore, they do something without accepting.

Good question :D

depends on it. Like It's hard to accept when someone you love doesn't love you, but it's alot easier to accept that a water main line is down and you're not going to have water fur a week.....
