There was a fire in the north of Corfu last night but the firefighters extinguished it on the spot. It's pretty safe, no need to worry about anything.

Well, the big fires are not near at all, besides Corfu is an island, but I just heard there was a new fire on Corfu. I believe it will be extinguished quickly, before getting dimensions, but with this entire situation you never know. Call the hotel you will be staying at and ask what happens. Anyway, I guess you will be near the sea, so you will be safe in general, just avoid hiking in the forest or sth., and I hope you enjoy your holidays.

No, the fires are not near. You can safely go there. Corfu is wonderful, enjoy.

corfu is wonderful but I have also heard about fires...not to a great extend though...
