my first time in a bar was age 6 in "Kings Cup" in Fairbanks Alaska with my dad in 1977.

Yes. In Alaska you can bring your children into any bar if the owner agrees. However they cannot sit at the bar or have alcoholic drinks. They can only be there with you. While the law allows it, many establishments don't. Because most bars are very smokey and sometimes rowdy anybody bringing young children into the bars are generally considered the scum of the Earth.
