Buffalo and Niagara Falls are between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Watertown is east of Lake Ontario. All are within 30 minutes of the border.

Niagara Falls & Buffalo in (Western) NY are very close to the border. Rochester is a little further away.

I know only Buffalo.When ever I visit Canada I used to arrive at Buffalo airport. From there my brother inlaw from Toronto Canada will come in his van and I used to cross the border in his van. We can have the view of Niagra falls from both American side and Canadian side.The view at Canadian side is good. I am an Indian.
