Rehabilitation back into normal society with the skills to live appropriately,healthily and survive having faced whatever it was(drugs,alchohol,depression etc)with the support of experts, and beat it enough to go home and lead a normal life as possible.

Rehab is short for 'rehabilitation', meaning enabling someone to re-enter society, the word is normally used to mean somewhere to go when you have an addiction, you normally can get de-toxed and then have therapy to help you deal with the addiction.

In general popular terms it is the admission ro a service where you can recieve professional help and support to help you overcome addiction of mental health problems.
Elsewhere it is a way to revamp a flagging B - C list celebrity career, i.e Davina McCall, Robbie Williams etc.....
