Unless somebody changed the collective minds of the muslims in that part of the world, peace is a matter of semantics.

I am afraid the course for the middle east is set regardless of what the Israeli govt gives or shelves in the peace process. You see, if one side (muslims) refuses peace regardless of what is offered then what the other side(s) do or offer is inconsequential. The US, Israel, and any courageous allies (most likely at least Britain) are simply going to have to quit trying to negotiate peace and start kicking butt and taking nam, no not names, start taking territory and keeping it.

if we read mideast politics - we realize tt the arabs r very determined to wipe israel off. some dont say it but its obvious. so israel hv to defend. the arabs with suicide bombings, rockets hope to destabilize the israelis forcing migration etc. also, the arabs r trying to multiply their population and hence in a generation they hv the sheeer numbers to whack israel. so determination to stay alive is so important. so the arabs r playing a waiting game as they think they r the chosen pple and its their duty to fulfill god's command. geeee! the jews r doing it somehow slightly more right than the arabs. they hv offered peace, east jerusalem as capital but all rejected. thy hv no choice but to defend themselves. building the wall is inevitable when the palestinians refused to stop the attacks.
