Global warming is a very real phenomenon, just like global cooling (ice ages). The Earth has experienced many warming and cooling cycles over the last 4.55 billion years.
The question you meant to ask was" Are humans the cause?". It is a large debate, and I am inclined to think that the Earth, as a whole, is way mightier that we and we can't do much to affect her on the big picture. But we are certainly not doing ourselves favours with all the pollution and man-made or natural, we will face big problems living on a warming planet.

No, I don't believe that we need a global warming, I'd rather that we didn't get that. I'm not in favor of any programs that encourages global warming. I understand that some people like those with backyard swimming pools in Calgary, Canada, might want to have global warming, but my vote is against it.

Of course. Sadly, it's quickly happening, and where I live there is proof (GA). The weather is hitting records down here! You cannot prevent global warming - the Earth is getting closer and closer to the sun every year.

No, we haven't been around long enough to see the full cycles of the earth's climate,in my opinion. I think we've only kept records for 135+ years or something like that. Regular Ice Age's can last tens of thousands of years and, probably, the warm spells between also.

It isn't really an option to believe or not--it's a scientific fact. This isn't a theory, but measurable, identifiable, immediate, and significant. Those who choose not to "believe" are just fooling themselves.

Yes, the ice core samples more than prove the fact that it is and that it is us doing it.
