Yes Cillit -Bang is really annoying and so too is the Picture loan advert with the Geordie woman. But the ones I find REALLY cringy are the adverts for sanitary wear. Hate them.

DFS adverts, it's always always sale time in that bloomin shop and I don't even live in the UK anymore but they creep onto UTV, have to agree with you bout the "Hi I'm Barry" ads, Cillit Bang - and have you seen how expensive that stuff actually is! that's why they do the hard sell. Does it actually work?
My fave advert at the moment are the Yop ones with the stone age people, they are funny!

Don't know the make of the car it's advertising - but it starts with a very strange cartoony thingy in the shower and it comes out to discover this leggy brunette has stolen the keys to take the car for a run. So he gathers some other strange looking cartoony thingys and they go through the town till they eventually stop her when the first strange looking cartoony thingy's towel drops from his waist and we can only dread to think what she's looking at. Then she's left on the pavement as strange looking cartoony thingys drive off.
Can anyone PLEASE explain what it's about? Or do I just not smoke enough strange looking cigarettes to understand? Do people seriously get paid for thinking such lunatic stuff it up?!

To be honest all adverts drive me crazy. I have sky plus now and I record everything I want to watch so I can fast forward through the adverts they drive me crazy. I have to say thought the picture loans advert is especially irritating and the Kellogg's advert too especially that blonde haired teen I would love to smack him in the mouth he annoys me so much!

I quite like the M&S ones, and I see what you mean about Cillit Bang - why does Barry Scott have to shout so?
The irritating ones for me are the obvious foreign ones that have been dubbed, actually no it is the one with the oriental kid sat on the toilet and the air freshener has all gone so he draws a picture for his mum and shoves it under the door - wtf?!

NOTHING is MORE irritating then the air-freshener where the little brat is on the toilet and yells out "POO THAT STINKS" then the dumb lip sync-ing mum comes in and refills the air freshener, and joins in a game of giggles with the little boy.
Irritating!
Also any of the halifax ads, they are so overplayed they are irritating for that purpose alone!
