You can teach philophy but that's not the same. You'd be better off writing books while teaching and when you're big enough,dump the academics and shoot for a lot of mass-media exposure,just to be able to exercise influence with the people who matter,that is,the masses.

You can still do philoophy .. not really going to be able to check it off as a carrer choice, you'll have to study losts of history, and english ... then you just think, analyse and write reports on your findings ... then publish the reports
