im 16. last weekend i got hammered and had unprotected sex. now im afraid that i might be pregnant.. and my friends are only making it worse. im afraid to talk to my mom about it. and i have no way to get pregnancy tests. im supposed to have my period sometime this week or next. should i wait it out and see if i get my period? and what if i skip? should i tell my mom about it? or should i just talk to my older sister first?.. maybe she could get me a test first so i dont get my mother scared.
please dont just lecture me. i know it was a mistake.

Okay, calm down.
If you're due for your period this week or next week, there is a good change you were NOT ovulating when you had unprotected sex.
Wait for a couple weeks, and if it doesn't come right away, you still may not be pregnent. I was so stressed out about a situation like this, I pushed my period back over a week.
No matter what, you're going to constantly think about it, and then probably "trick" yourself into being pregnent.
Give it time, and if you don't get it in 2 weeks, take a test.
Don't listen to your friends, and prepare for your parents to find out now that all of your friends know.
They tell their parents, their parents tell yours. Get Ready.
Also, next time you are drinking with friends and boys, you need to find someone to look out for you. Just ask one of your close friends to make sure you don't do anything stupid.

Just wait it out, and give it an extra week just to make sure, it you don't get your period by then, go to your sister, and have her get you a test, or you might want to go to a local clinic and have them take a blood test, thats the only for sure way to know, if you are pregnant then you do have to tell your mom. I understand not wanting to involve your mom until the last possible second, I'm the same way, because I don't feel like being lectured or have her dissapointed in me.

It is too early to tell with a pregnancy test now. You need to wait a couple of weeks and see if you get your period, otherwise you need to talk to mom. You also need to be aware of how dangerous unprotected sex can be pregnancy is the least of your worries. You can get many different STD's many of which can kill you. You are far too young to be out drinking, you could end up in juvenile anyway. Be careful, I know you think you are all grown up and know everything, but you aren't. Take some advise from people who have had more years of experience, enjoy being a kid and don't try to be an adult too soon.

fist of calm down take a deep breath. Now wait to see if you get your period. If you have not gotten it about a week when you were supposed too then take a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant you NEED to tell your parents, and the guy you had sex with. Talk about the options. If you dont want to keep the baby i suggest giving him/her up for adoption. You could do private adoptio when you dont know who's getting the baby, our you could do open adoption when you choose the baby's parents and keep in some form of contact with them and the child.

I definetly do not think you should tell your mom yet. You should wait to see if you get your period, if you don't talk to your sister about getting a test. Only tell your parents once your sure you are pregnant. Just be careful next time.

Is there any chance your sister would be willing to take you to a free clinic? That's probably the best approach. They'll test you confidentially, and if you are pregnant, they'll give you an ultrasound, let you know how far along you are, check for problems, etc. Of course, if you can drive there yourself, that works too. You don't have to have an adult with you.
Try not to freak out yet- you might be pregnant, but then again, you might not be. Give it time, go to the clinic, and see how things play out. I wish you luck!

I get really nervous like this too, but I never have unprotected sex.
Talk with your sister and ask her to get you a pregnancy test. And if it comes back that you are pregnant have your sister help you with you when you tell your mom.

I've encountered this before and it is scary. I am a man but I can sypathise. My advice is wait it out till 3 days after your expected period, in some instances sexual activity and birth control delay the period but not very much. Also get your hands on a test if you can.

You should wait till your period.. stay calm and if you feel comfortable telling your older sister this then do so. I would wait to tell your mom though
