I am in high school, and I really want to experience another culture, but unfortunatly my monetary resources are limited. I have been trying to find a relatively cheap program, can anyone help? I am thinking anywhere from 0 to 900$, probably France, Spain or Great Britain, but I am open to other destinations so long as they are relatively safe. Thanks a bunch!

Most exchange student organizations have summer programs. However, few are that cheap. You can find a list of organizations certified to operate in the US at www.csiet.org. You should also check with your school counselor.

Some programs will offer summer scholarships that may put this within your price range.

Good luck!

Rotary Club in your area has a youth exchange program. As you may know Rotary promotes peace through exchange and understanding of cultures.
