Roy Keane hasnt bought much bar McShane. Chopra wont score much more this season I reckon. As you said I thought that Liverpool gambled on Torres and he still has to prove a lot Looks decent so far but only one goal scored too Darren Bent was a big gamble also

being a lifelong man united fan i think fergie has made his biggest gamble in the signing of tevez.that is not to say tevez is not a worldclass player but he should have signed a hitman,i.e. fernando torres or maybe fergie has been clever and will use saha to fill that role-but then do you play tevez and rooney?or even can you play them both and leave the frontline empty when they drop off?i think though the biggest gamble was tottenham spending all that money on bent.i think thats gonna be a huge waste of money come the end of the season.

Torres will get his fair share of goals this season.
Chelsea are rumoured to be signing Ronaldinho within the next few days and he'd cost the price of a small country.
I would be interested to see how he'd perform on a wet wednesday night in Bolton.
That's a gamble.

Definately Spurs with Bent, Charlton owner must still be smiling away to himself somewhere.Sold in same week as Thierry Henry for same price! gimme a break. Hargreaves not nearly worth the money he cost especially when Utd have 2or3 very similar players in their squad already

torres is a big gamble for liverpool. still early in the season but if his striking rate continues like this, i think we can say he was overpriced and overrated.
