I wouldn't say that ghosts in the traditional sense exist; however energy exists in many different forms.

Yes ghosts are real. But there are a few different categories that people get all mixed up.

Ghosts are souls of people who have died, but for some reason they did not move on to the spirit world. They continue thinking they are alive. Since no one can see them, they become frustrated and may begin affecting the surroundings. Bumps in the night, disembodied voices, figures at the foot of your bed, taps on your shoulder, etc.

Spirits are the souls of people who have died who HAVE made the transition to the other side. These spirits come back and forth just to visit. Do you smell your grandpa's pipe? Do you hear your mother's voice call your name? Did you get a weird message on your machine that sounds like your deceased friend saying "I'm okay." These are all signs that the deceased have paid you a short visit. Think of it as a Supernatural Shout-Out.

Imprints are another situation that people aften mistake for a ghost. Our surroundings act like a record. An activity that took place repeatedly or was charged with emotional energy leaves an imprint on the surroundings. timing is important when determining if activity is an imprint. Does the front door open by itself at the same time every night? Do you hear footsteps at 3am on a steady basis? Do voices and noises you hear seem to ignore you?

Then there are poltergeists. German for "noisy spirits". There are many opinions on what poltergeists are. Some think they are demons, some angry ghosts, in ancient times people thought they were mischevious fairies. The more modern beliefs is that poltergeist activity is caused by built up kinetic energy that releases suddenly and sometimes violently. Usually where there is poltergeist activity you will find adolescents in the house. Young people who are entering puberty are at the mercy of raging hormones and changing brain patterns. Their bodies and their minds literally "go haywire" for several years and all that unruly psychic energy sometimes bursts forth and affects the things around them.

What is a ghost? The spirit of a dead person? An alien from another planet? A transdementinal being? Energy imprinted on time and space? Thier is evedence hauntings. In that I would say yes.

Yes they are, I have had many encounters and have also had people with me when I had some of my encounters. They saw and heard the same things I did.

that's strictly a matter of opinion. there's too much evidence of their existence to say they don't exist, but unless you've had a personal experience, you can't say for sure. I think they do, but that's just my opinion.
