Just open the hood and look down. It's on the front of the engine at the bottom. It's very easy to replace on a Taurus.

under your hood..near the battery maby..should be a starter solenoid ... you can follow the positive cable from your battery to find it..that might be your problem..if not..follow wire from there to starter...hope that helps
