Which is better? I had never heard of firefox until today when I couldn't access a site on IE and needed FF? Is FF safe and how will not using IE affect my internet activity?
Thanks

1. I think Firefox is better. This, of course, is my opinion. Some people make fun of Firefox because they think its "cool" to make fun of it, for some reason.

2. Yes, Firefox is safe.

3. It will generally not affect it at all. Unless you imported them during setup, Firefox will not have your bookmarks, or "Favorites" saved for you. Some pages may initially take longer to load than IE because it has to build a "cache" of commonly used pictures, like the Yahoo! Answers logo, for instance.

There are a VERY few sites that will not work with Firefox. This is not the fault of Firefox, but the way that the person designed the web page. All good websites support Firefox, even Microsoft's website!

Firefox is my favorite Web browser. It has tons more add ons, from themes to blocking certain pictures on a web page. (It is called "addblockplus" and it has been such a help to me.) The only downside to Firefox is that it still cannot do a few functions Internet explorer can. Mainly, it cannot display some graphics the way Internet Explorer can, but that's hardly an issue.

As for safety and performance: Using Firefox rather than Internet explorer will not impede performance in any way. Also, I believe Firefox to be one of the safest public web browsers, if not already in the lead. Just don't delete Internet Explorer altogether, there are still a few websites here and there that you will need Internet Explorer to view, but they are few and far between.

I hope that helps.

At artwork I would desire to apply IE (via particular utility) on my computer laptop I perfer Firefox. Why Firefox?? merely because of the fact its greater defend than IE whilst it involves junk attempting to place in itself onto your laptop. Plus, the format is astonishing and thats why IE took that concept of varied job bar in one Window!
