The 90 4.3ltr V6 has throttle body FI. The 87 S10 previously had FI. I purchased 87 S10 modified with carburated 350.

I looked on s10 for proper wiring to hook up 4.3 but it was not there. Should I install wiring harness from 90 to 87? I have both vehicles.

yes you can make the swap real easy, you need the computer from the 90 model also though to make everything work right on it,other wise it wont run ,if you have access to all of the parts for this its an easy swap to do,but it would be better if you had both vehicles to work with ,other wise a salvage yard will charge you a lot for all the small stuff you,ll need to make this set up work good, but it will work,we took one from a 89 model s-10,and installed it in a Chevy luv truck,so it can be done, good luck with it.

It's a job best left for someone who is very experienced with automotive wiring and someone who has done this kind of swap before.

If you have to ask you don't have the experience...trust me you'll wind up with two cars that don't run...
