Sunflower vs vegetable oil but which as car fuel?

Please help i heard you can put sun flower oil and a bit of acetone mix in to your disel car and it i will work!
and vegatable oil is to thick please help tell me if this is true or not.

Please dont do this.you need more info on what makes a diesel engine run.

Sunflower oil is a vegetable oil.

The Diesel engine was originally designed to run on peanut oil.
Do a search for bio fuel and find the right way to run a diesel on vege oil.
If you don't sapponify the oil first you will damage the engine in the long term, it has to do with modifying the glycerides.

Home heating oil is the same as diesel except for the dye and the road tax. It's illegal to use on the road because you won't have paid the road tax which is what makes it cheaper.
