So why can’t women remember to put the toilet seat down before sitting down? One would imagine that after falling in several times, they would learn to check its position before plopping down on the toilet!

Men don’t do it because we don’t fall in when taking a pee…we can aim in between!

All I am asking is why do women make a big deal out of it? If men find it down and need to pee, we would either lift it or pee in between…we don’t complain about it being up or down, we just deal with it.

Haha feel you on that! As a female I think that this is just a bad stereo type. Women think men should leave the seat down for them, why don't we leave the seat up for men? My bf leaves it up sometimes but also puts it down for me other times. We kind of flip flop on it, but damnt girls if the seat is up deal with it! and put it down, or are you just to lazy or girlie to touch and put down a freakin seat!

Men has to have the seat up when they pee. Why? Because as they pee they splatter. Therefor.... seat up or seat down, men should wipe the seat clean when finished, even if they don't see the splatters. Because they are there. Then, after wiping the seat on BOTH sides, LEAVE IT DOWN. I have always felt since most homes now have 2 bathrooms, some have 2 1/2. They should have a HIS and HERS bathroom. HIS could have a Urinal.

Ok, I am not a dog. I have reasoning skills they do not. Let me ask you in return...Why don't men learn that the proper position for the toilet seat AND lid is DOWN so the mess that may be left after flushing is not visible to others?! Also...They need to STAY down in tiny bathrooms to prevent items that must be stored on top, from falling into the bowl!! Do you also pick your nose and wipe it on the arm of your chair? Do you expect the woman of your home to be your Mother and pick your nasty clothes off the floor instead of taking those two steps to the hamper? Perhaps you are the armchair quarterback ape who needs to keep a trash basket next to your chair because you are also too lazy to get up and go the waste basket in the kitchen or outer room!?!

The toilet set being down is the natural position, so when the men are through they should have the courtesy to put it back in it's natural position.
P.S. Dogs become afraid of humans if they are punished in a harmful way, you train with love just like women train they men with love.

because there used to it being down and why is it up? But they should look before just sitting down. I would think after several times of falling in you would look.
