my siblings constantly talk back & disrespect me when i am watching them, its getting to the point where i want to move out & they are not doing anything but stressing me out. they should respect me im there elder. but the thing is they do it to my parents..they talk back to them also. i have tried EVERYTHING i thought of to make the situation better but everyday seems to get worse. they are like "demon children", they fight,cry,yell &talk back & they even fight with eachother, they make so much noise & pick on the baby &make her cry. this house is a constant reck like a hurricane blew through with all the mess they make. sometimes i just want to shake some scence into there heads. they are far to old to be acting the way they do& making the mess they make the oldest is in 8th grade, they seem to be so immature. i tell them to clean up& they tell me "why dont u do it". or they huff&puff. Why cant i just have a peaceful day with nice children that can keep the house clean? what do i do?

Try taking away from them something they realy like - there's bound to be something they treasure. Also, don't let them see you upset, it only encourages them. If they're trying to upset you, just laugh at them and say something like, you are so immature/pathetic/such a baby.

Lay dowm the law. Basically you can threaten and threaten a child but, until they have you actually follow through on a punishment so that they will notice. Unfortunatly they seem to be to old and are by now set in there ways. Good Luck
