She would certainly be more honest and genuinely caring than the Prince of Wales' first wife.

Maybe Duchess of Wales or Lady of Balmoral, figuratively speaking, but Queen? I have to agree, "God I hope not!" One must lead by example and what the hell has she ever done to set an example except come between a sweet innocent and her prince and literally drove D mad? It may be that Q E may in fact deny Charles his place because of his marriage but because he did marry a year or more after Di's death now, that may have nothing to do with it. But since he is directly the next heir to the throne, I think we'll see Charles ascend to the throne, unfortunately. But then again, he has been groomed all his life to ascend the throne and unfortunately whoever's his better half, no matter who it is, will ascend with him. I don't however think she will have that many official duties, she'll be more a figurehead, not really regarded as authority on anything. I mean, I don't think the England commoners are going to welcome someone as her seeing as how she was divorced and did actually break up Ch and Di's marriage. I certainly don't have any ounce of respect for her. And I'm pretty sure most of Ch's subjects won't either. I think it truly is in God's hands as it was in the Renaissance Q E's reign who was a virgin.

Are you serious? Which planet have you been living on for the last 15 or so years? The British will never accept Camilla after what she did to C & D's marriage. Get a life!

Camilla will never be a Queen Consort. It has already been decided that if Charles ascends the Throne and it is touch and go if he will outlive The Queen, His wife will become The Princess Consort. End of.

I don't know about greatest, but definitely most controversial because of all that stuff re: how she got there. People are not likely to forget she hovered over Charles and Diana's marriage like a vulture. If Charles had been any kind of a man, he should've married Camilla in the first place and not ruined poor Princess Diana's life like he did!
As far as I'm concerned neither Charles nor Camilla deserve to be king and queen. It just should pass down to Prince William and whomever he marries. Better still, get rid of the monarchy altogether. It's an anachronism anyway.

Camilla isn't destined to become a queen. She can't become one anyways.

I very much doubt it. Since she & Charles are getting on in years already & the Queen is still in excellent health, there is a chance that she will never be Queen. Charles may die before his mother. Who knows???

"...She cannot technically ever be Queen. "
Of course she can. The wife of the King is always the Queen. the wife of Edward VII was Queen Alexandra; the wife of George V was Queen Mary; the wife of George VI was Queen Elizabeth (later given the title Queen Mother when her daughter became Queen).
The wife of every English/British King has had the title "Queen" including all six of Henry VIII's wives. Camilla will be Queen when Charles becomes King. That's the way it goes.

Don't know about greatest, but she may well be queen.
And all you people talking about who deserves to be King or Queen, you really don't get it, do you?
It's a hereditary monarchy. We don't vote for them. The next in line gets it, good, bad, deserving or undeserving.
If you want a say in who is our head of state, then let's abolish the whole thing and have an elected president. Otherwise, just shut up and accept who you're given "by divine right".

She's not destined to be Queen at all. When Charles takes to the throne she becomes the King's Consort.

I don't think Camilla should be Queen but then I don't think Charles should be King either. He is weak.
The throne should go directly to William.
