You should be able to get help from your local butcher. Just make sure he has good aim and a decent cleaver. I'd use a stanley knife for the bits hanging off and finish the really neat parts with a scalpel.

i'd say keep your nails neat and trimmed, not long, and wear light colored polish, also wear delicate shoes, not clunky ones, especially sandals.
