I would choose to stay somewhere other than the Plaza Hotel :)

Try Main Street Station
http://www.mainstreetcasino.com

The Golden Nugget
http://www.goldennugget.com

Even the El Cortez >Tower Rooms
http://www.elcortezhotelcasino.com

All are considerable nicer than the Plaza and much better values.

Fremont View is being able to see Fremont St or being near it.

Strip view is having a view of the Strip from your room. The Strip is the street that goes by all the major hotels like the Mirage, MGM and so on.

Pool view is being able to see the pool area.

Well, a "strip view" will give you a room with a view of the strip, where all the excitement is.
A "pool view" will give you a view of your hotel's pool.
The strip view will probably cost you more.

But either way doesn't really matter, you wont spend much time in your room anyway!

Have fun!

Definitely would not stay at Plaza either. If downtown were your choices I would choose California or Main Street and request the new side for California. I usually get California for 50.00 per night. Haven't checked recently though.
