Yes it is, unless you are seriously sick and need 24 hour help then yea its ok. But that age you should have a family already or at least living on your own. She need to learn how to be an independent women, because your parents are not going to be around for ever, and then what she is going to do? Buy her the Destiny's Child single Independent Women and tell her to listen to the lyrics.

Way too old. She's obviously dominated by her mother,and in such cases there is usually several preceding generations where offspring were unusually bonded to their mothers. It can can have a cultural determinant,being extremely common with Italians,both in Italy and to a lesser extent Italian-Americans,although it seems to be fading out here.
