it is a murry mini-bike with a 3.5 horsepower tecumseh engine. The engine starts but to keep it on you have to constanly hold down the gas, and when you let go of the gas the engine shuts off. Yea, there is gas in it. Answers are greatly appreciated

There may be water in the botom of the carburetor bowl, or the idle port is plugged, or the primer bulb is sucking air, or the mounting bolts are loose, or the spark plug is dirty or not gapped right, or it has old gas in it.

possibly the carb needs adjusting
