If, like me they were encouraged by their peers to do so as a teenager, prior to all the current health warnings, I want to help them stop - and think nothing less of them as people.
However anyone starting to smoke now, with all the facts available, must be "boncas"!
I stopped on April 10th this year after nearly 50 years on cigars and am still suffering severe withdrawal symptoms. Good luck to all in my situation. When I was 15 it was the done thing with no problems!

Smoking is very addictive, and many people (men and women) start to smoke for different reasons, most likely peer presure, I am not so sure they smoke because they "look" sophisticated, I am not sure that looks "trampy" or similar, at the end they will end looking older than they really are with horrible yellow teeth...

The smoking ban has made town dead I think it should be a matter of choice tho if your a non smoker it tastes awful when you kiss someone who does. So it depends on if I am trying to give up will soon as can`t see me standing outside in the rain

Doesn't bother me, I think it builds up confidence to be honest.
When I was at school, alot of girl friends I had smoked - it was just acceptable, even at 15!
Now though, it only puts me off slightly because of the health issues, and the mess it leaves on wallpapers/smell in the future!

I smoke and would not advise anyone to start smoking, you are right it does look disgusting, smells disgusting but helll i am battling to stop. Don't let your friends encourage you , you will be sorry. Really. Enjoy the rest of your weekend if you are living in Usa. Cute little fairy :))

I quit smoking about 7 years ago. Best thing I did for myself and for the people around me.
But it is a true addiction. It was hard having to quit. Thankfully, there is all kinds of help out there for people who WANT to quit.

I've restarted smoking recently, it's a stupid thing to do but it calms me down - that'll be the drug but it's still stupid, which is exactly how it makes you look.
I would tell a teenager that it most certainly isn't cool and as the packet says, it kills.

actually it looks very unethical well for my opinion,smoking destroys a persons health,though it maybe used as a 'social thing" it cant be denied that youre body is being put to many health hazards.For me women who smoke are a big turn-off and it makes them look dirty,no offense to anyone

I'm a reformed smoker,when i packed up my wife still smoked for a good year and a half.
and the first thing i noticed was the smell (disgusting) and the how bad it looks.i think it now looks and smells disgusting
